Cleaning the frame most of the time is a simple and easy process.

How to clean your wooden frame

What you will need

1. Feather
2. Microfiber cloth
3. Glass cleaner
4. Paper towel

Remove the dust from the frame with the use of a feather. At the points where the dirt persists use the microfibre cloth to remove it.
Make sure you never scrub the frame so as not to damage the surface. Prefer to repeat the movement several times to clear the frame than applying more pressure.

Tip 1

If your frame has a lacquer finish then to remove a stain or dirt that doesn’t easily leave you can put a little alcohol on a cloth and then remove the dirt with very gentle movements.

Tip 2

We never use hard cleaners on the surface of the frame because they may damage the finish.

How to clean the glass of a photo frame

To clean the frame glass spray a cloth with a little glass cleaner and clean the surface with circular motions. You do not need to remove the glass from the frame but you should take the frame of the wall if you have hang it.

How to clean acrylic glass of a photo frame

Acrylic glass is more sensitive than regular glass, so we only use a dry microfiber cloth to clean it. Clean with gentle circular movements without straining.
